An exciting traditional orchestration that pays homage to the golden age of film scoring, with big brass lead and light percussion. The vision behind “Promenade” is a scene of a parade culminating in the arrival of a benevolent king and his entourage, arrayed in brightly colored royal attire, complete with musicians, dancers, and an overall sense of joy. The listener, however, is encouraged to interpret the music in any way he or she wants.
