Jesse Brown’s ‘Raining Roots’ from his album ‘Where To?’ began as a field recording of tree roots dripping down to China Beach near Sooke, BC, Canada. The video footage was recorded at the same time as recording the waves and dripping roots, and if you look to the right you can see where the ocean had eroded the land underneath the trees, creating this beautiful and peaceful sound that resulted in this duet with Canadian pianist Jesse Brown.
