Harry Jacobson joins Daniele Petrocchi and me on our original tribute to John Coltrane, Trane Wreck. Coltrane and his quartet’s sound with McCoy Tyler was so important in the 60s and together we explore some uptempo modal grooves and modes that drove Trane’s seminal work with McCoy. Harry’s a teacher’s teach and brings the very finest sound to the Cloud. Daniele’s a monster electric bass player and musician and lays down some beautiful bass lines and soloing too.
