This came out of a collaboration with my dear friend Julien Morency, building upon my original piano piece ‘It’s Something Like This’. Gary-courtland-miles – Like-this

At the time, I was seeking to describe the indescribable; a life experience that elicited feelings more intense than happiness, like the inexplicable emotions felt at the birth of one’s first child, or one of those deeply transformational experiences that seem to expand out forever. I suppose it’s best known as Joy.

Impossible to describe perhaps…
But here it is, with warm thanks to Julien @ Musicar for adding his heartfelt touch with Strings.
