Originally I composed this music for piano (Betty Boop in Corgiville/YouTube) and recently arranged it for 1920’s jazz band. I have always loved the Betty Boop cartoons and am amazed how the animators achieved such hilarious characters and yes some of them are truly psychedelic with such great music by people like Cab Calloway and others. So I decided to finally throw my hat into the ring and use my own music with one of her cartoons “Betty Boop’s Ker-Choo” (I did do some editing using iMovie to make it fit the timeline).

I used East/West library and finally found the right sounds. To make it more musically authentic I used the bass saxophone and tuba for the bass, muted/whaa whaa trumpets, xylophone, splash cymbal and woodblocks. I had a lot of fun on this project and hope Betty gets over her cold.
