Gilberto Gil is at the altar of modern Brazilian music. He is certainly among the Brazilian composers that I listened to the most.
Among so many wonderful songs he composed, Drão is a pearl.
This song was an important part of my youth and was part of his anthological acoustic record.
To conclude the series of Brazilian music arrangements converted to jazz ballads, I decided to revisit it.
In this arrangement, I tried to compose something essentially pianistic, keeping the intimate character of the music.
