Faraway is a tale of 4 cities in 4 countries: Cracow, Poland, Berlin, Germany, Tel Aviv, Israel and Union, New Jersey, USA. Jakub, the percussionist, lives in Cracow. Sister Chain, the vocalist, lives in Berlin and her son Hamlet is also featured. The shots of Tel Aviv were provided by Amit Itzcar. With this composition I used dissonance to tell the tale of the complex emotions associated with being far away. I am Piotr Bal, composer/producer, and I live in Union.
