I invite you to listen to my interpretation and my piano arrangement of the magnificent song “It Can’t Rain All The Time” composed by Graeme Revell and co-written and performed by Jane Siberry. This song is part of the soundtrack of The Crow movie directed by Alex Proyas and released in 1994. Brandon Lee (Bruce Lee’s son) who played Eric Draven, the film’s main character, died of a tragic accident occurred during the shooting scenes. He was 28 years old and this film would launch his career.
I have always loved this film as well as the two soundtracks from the film.
I really liked the film in this gothic, dark universe with the tragic story of a couple brutally murdered the day before their wedding. The main character, Eric Draven, a year after the drama, comes back to life thanks to a crow … He wants to accomplish his revenge by all means by finding the men who killed and raped his wife. A story of eternal love, revenge and a beautiful mystical side. The crow is the guardian of his soul which connects him to the world of the living and the dead.
Quote from the movie: “Long ago, people believed that when someone dies, a crow takes their soul to the land of the dead. But it sometimes happens when things that are too horrible have happened that the soul takes with it immense sadness and cannot find rest and sometimes, but only sometimes, the raven can bring this soul back so that good regains its right over evil. ”

Cette chanson fait partie de la bande son du film The Crow réalisé par Alex Proyas et sortie en 1994. Brandon Lee ( le fils de Bruce Lee ) qui incarnait Eric Draven, le personnage principal du film, est décédé suite à un accident tragique qui s’est produit lors du tournage. Il avait 28 ans et ce film allait lancer sa carrière….
J’ai toujours aimé ce film ainsi que les deux bandes sons.
J’ai beaucoup aimé le film dans cet univers gothique, sombre avec une histoire tragique d’un couple assassiné la veille de leur mariage. Le personnage principal, Eric Draven, un an après le drame, revient à la vie grâce à un corbeau….Il veut accomplir sa vengeance par tous les moyens en retrouvant les hommes qui ont tué et violé sa femme. Une histoire d’amour éternel, de vengeance et un beau côté mystique. Le corbeau est le gardien de son âme qui la relie au monde des vivants et des morts.
Citation du film : « Il y a longtemps, le gens croyaient que quand quelqu’un meurt, un corbeau emporte son âme jusqu’au pays des morts. Mais il arrive parfois quand des choses trop horribles se soient passées que l’âme emporte avec elle une immense tristesse et qu’elle ne puisse pas trouver le repos et quelque fois, mais seulement quelque fois, le corbeau peut faire revenir cette âme pour que le bien reprenne son droit sur le mal. »
