This is an orchestral cover of the main theme – Enterprising Young Men – from the motion picture ‘Star Trek.’ It stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yeltsin, Bruce Greenwood, Tyler Perry & Eric Bana. The original score was composed by the great Michael Giacchino (Star Trek-J.J. Abrams, The Incredibles, Jurassic World, Spiderman: Far From Home). After I created the cover from ‘Into Darkness’ I wanted to see if I could do better with the first movie’s score. Although they have similar melody lines, this is a totally different arrangement. This motif is during the scene when the crew first boards their newly constructed flagship; the USS Enterprise NCC-1701. This took about 4 days from start to finish; ALL ear, and ALL MIDI.
