Amor hèreos or love sickness is the idea that one cannot live without the Beloved one, and this leads him/her to consumption, folly and eventually death. This was considered a real illness and during Dante’s time the disease became a standard in medical texts.
In my music the three instruments are constantly searching for something unreachable. The moment they get close to it, they fall down in a hazy state.
