Overcoming Destiny – Wassim SAMAD
This song is about Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Worlds. I got my inspiration from the two last arcs of the anime Sword Art Online (Alicization and War of Underworld). The story behind Alice and Eugeo overcoming their restrictions and destiny by moving progressively from AI to consciousness.
The general theme is close to WestWorld with very different stories of course.
The composition is completely original and does not refer to an SAO song but I tried to go closely to Yuki Kajiura style with the use of electronic beat and sounds, the very emotional strings melody and the exceptional use of choir/vocals.
I wish you will like it, I have no pretention to be close to Yuki Sensei level but I really hope I could share you some feelings by listening to this song.
