My submission to the competition for composers sponsored by Orchestral Tools featuring their new sample library “Modus” (by Jeff Russo).
The Brief:
“Compose a piece of music (45 seconds to 2 minutes); as a soundtrack for the outdoors. We’re looking for a hopeful, inspiring piece of music. You can use any audio you want: e.g. sample libraries, phone recordings, or whatever you have to hand to record with.
Compose a piece of music (between 45 seconds and two-minutes long) depicting the moment a new universe is discovered.
We’re looking for a composition that tells a discovery story. Whether the discovery is good/bad/scary/hopeful… that’s up to you!”
