The Scherzo (second movement) from Robert Cunningham’s Piano Sonata No. 1. The sonata was completed in 1982, and the composer recorded the work the following year. This video is based on the second movement from that 1983 recording, together with a recent transcription of the original handwritten score into a modern Finale edition.
